A Step at a Time
A Step at a Time is a synthetic phonics programme which has
a large range of accompanying resources designed and illustrated by
Kelly Rowlingson and based on Mona McNee's Step by Step.
The A Step at a Time programme can be used as a step-by-step
way of teaching children how the English language works. It can be
used to prepare preschool children for school, to fully teach children
to read or to re-teach struggling children. It is also possible for
parents and/or teachers to use the resources without following the
actual programme.
