Numeracy

All of our numeracy products have been split into the following knowledge and strategy stages. Simply click on the area below which best describes where your child is up to (onto the little + - if there is no + it is because we are still loading those resources). If you are confused by the table below, do not fret! Follow this link:

+Knowing the numbers 0 to 10.
+Forwards, backwards, before and after 0 to 10.
+Patterns to 5 e.g. instantly recognising a number of up to five objects.
0 to 3
+Knowing the numbers 0 to 20.

+Forwards, backwards, before and after 0 to 20. Skip counting to 20 in 2s and 5s.

+Groupings within 5 e.g. 4 and 1. Groupings with 5 e.g. 5 and 4. Groupings within 10 e.g. 7 and 3. Patterns to 10.

+Addition and subtraction to 5 e.g. 3 + 1 = 4. Doubles to 10.

4 to 5
+Knowing the numbers 0 to 100. Written symbols for halves, quarters, thirds and fifths.
+Forwards, backwards, before and after 0 to 100. Skip counting to 100 in 2s, 5s and 10s.
+Groupings with 10 e.g. 10 and 4. Groupings within 20 e.g. 18 and 2. The number of tens in decades e.g. tens in 20.
+Addition and subtraction to 10 e.g. 7 + 2 = . Doubles and halves to 20. Ten and facts e.g. 10 + 7. Multiples of 10 up to 100 e.g. 20 + 80.
4 to 5
Knowing the numbers 0 to 1000. Written symbols for halves, quarters, thirds, fifths and tenths.
Forwards, backwards, before and after 0 to 1000. Skip counting to 100 in 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s. Fractions.
Groupings within 100 e.g. 65 and 35. Groupings of two in numbers to 20 e.g. 10 groups of 2 in 20. Groupings of five in numbers to 50 e.g. 7 groups of five in 37. Groupings of ten in a three digit number e.g. 483 = 48.
+Addition facts to 20 and subtraction facts to 10. Multiplication facts for 2x, 5x and 10x tables (and division). Multiples of 100 up to 1000 e.g. 800 + 200.

Knowing the numbers 0 to 1000000. Decimals to three places. Symbols for all fractions.
Forwards, backwards, before and after 0 to 1000000. Forwards and backwards for fractions and decimals.

Groupings within 1000 e.g. 330 and 670. Groupings of two, three, five and ten that are in numbers to 100 and their remainders e.g. fours in 18 is 4 with 2 remainder. Groupings of 10 and 100 in a four digit number e.g. 3843 = 384 or 38.

+Addition and subtraction facts to 20 e.g. 8 + 12. Multiplication up to the 10x tables. Multiplication facts with tens, hundreds and thousands e.g. 100 x 10 = 1000.
